To ensure that power outages do not hinder the restoration of banking equipment and POS terminals, our service engineers now have portable charging stations in their arsenal.
“Since June, when the situation with power outages worsened, we have observed a nearly twofold increase in the workload of our service engineers. We analyzed that the key issue is that when a service engineer arrives to fix a device, they cannot do their job due to a lack of electricity. As a result, work accumulated. So, we conducted research and selected specific models of charging stations that would be optimal for the service engineers and purchased them,” says Dmytro Mukhin, Head of the Banking Equipment Service Department at RENOME SMART.
Currently, the service team is using 60 devices across various parts of Ukraine. After the testing period is completed, the number of portable charging stations will be increased if necessary.
