Thanks to RENOME SMART, another self-service device has recently been introduced in Angola, automating the processes of printing and issuing bank payment cards. This kiosk, CPT1000, is designed for Atlantico Bank.
In case of lost or need for reissuing a bank payment card, there’s no longer a need to visit a branch, wait in queues, or wait for card production. By using the kiosk, a payment card is issued on average in less than 2 minutes.
“This self-service solution allows our customers to replace their cards 24/7, regardless of the bank branch’s working hours. The first machine is already available at Agência da Cidade Financeira in Luanda, and in 2024, we will be expanding the solution to other provinces,” the bank Atlantico mentioned on its Facebook page.
The kiosk is equipped with a touchscreen, fingerprint scanner, ID card scanner, printer for printing payment cards, and a check printer. It prints on four types of cards, both credit and debit, on both sides. The device seamlessly integrates with the bank’s accounting system, enabling customer authorization and issuing a new payment card in real-time mode.
