Students of Rivne universities created the mobile application for cash-in-transit services as part of the RenomeLAB internship program at RENOME SMART.
“The internship program is aimed at students and beginners who want to gain practical experience in the IT field. The selection process took place in several stages: we collected applications, conducted interviews, assessed motivation, technical skills, and communication skills. As a result, we formed a strong, close-knit team,” – Tetyana Oksenyuk, HR R&D.
The program lasted a month and was full of events and activities. First, the interns got to know each other, divided roles in the team, and talked with the project customer. Then, they learned about the basics of business analysis, UI/UX design, and the specifics of implementing various functionalities from mentors from the R&D department of RENOME SMART.
During the internship, the participants regularly met with the customer and received valuable feedback on the work performed. The final stage was the presentation of the application, which took place on July 17 at the R&D office of RENOME SMART. The event brought together RenomeLAB interns, mentors, the customer, as well as interested developers of the company.
Despite the fact that the students had no previous experience of teamwork in developing similar products, they managed to create an application on time and with all the necessary functionality. Valeriy Siroshtan, CEO of RENOME SMART, also highly praised the results of their work.
The participants gained valuable experience in teamwork and understanding real IT business processes.
“I have positive impressions from the internship, because it is new acquaintances, teamwork on an interesting project, and a feeling of support. The project turned out to be considerable and very interesting,” – Maksym Sabadashka, IT Step student, developer of the intern team.
