The RENOME SMART product line has been expanded with a new device. This time, the company has created a special device for dispensing smaller denominations of banknotes.
The issue arises from the peculiarity of the financial system in Angola, where high-denomination banknotes dominate the circulation. To break them into smaller denominations for everyday purchases, the population has to exert considerable effort. Consequently, the National Bank of the country decided to initiate a social project to address this concern.
In 2022, at the request of the bank, Coseba company approached us for the development. This marked the beginning of an ongoing collaboration. Currently, a cash exchange kiosk has been created, which can dispense the required amount in smaller denominations (in banknotes or coins) in less than a minute, available 24/7. The device has been successfully tested in the bank and deployed in a shopping center, with plans for solution scalability.
