Smart branch for Bai Bank from Angola
Autonomous mobile branch based on a 40-foot container accommodates an ATM, deposit machines, a card printing kiosk, as well as a video surveillance system and solar panels.

About the client

Banco Angolano de Investimentos (BAI), a leading full-service bank in Angola. The institution serves more than 1,500,000 retail and corporate clients. About a hundred branches are located in 18 provinces of the country, as well as in Portugal and Cape Verde.

Implemented solution

Joint project of RENOME SMART and Coseba for BAI Bank in Angola. According to it, the partners developed an autonomous mobile branch, which we, as a technology partner of the project, provided with self-service devices.
Smart branch has the form of a 40-foot container, where an ATM was placed, a video surveillance system and solar panels for storing electricity, two rear-load deposit machines manufactured by RENOME SMART. Soon, another device will appear in the branches – a kiosk for automated issuance of payment cards. In the next few years, about 60 such self-service zones are planned in the country.

KEY ADVANTAGE OF OUR SOLUTION
ES 3003 RL, a rear-load device, was developed specifically for the project. It is possible to install it into the wall, while the user (client) part goes out, and the collectors’ one remains inside.

WHAT THE PARTNER RECEIVED
The solution can completely replace a bank branch. Mobile, independent of energy carriers, does not require significant investment and performs all basic functions (dispensing and depositing cash, renewing cards).

CASH TRANSACTIONS

The deposit machine performs all operations related to depositing cash to any account (for example: replenishment, repayment of loans, etc.)

CAPACITY

The device works with large amounts of cash, performs their quick recalculation and validation with the “Giesecke & Devrient” bill acceptor. Its volume is 30,000 banknotes.

24-HOUR AVAILABILITY

Placing the user part on the street eliminates its constraints in operating hours that occur due to the work schedule of the branch. Therefore, the bank clients can use its services 24/7.
