The “Hryvnia. More than Money” exhibition opened on March 28 in Kyiv.
A transparent ATM by RENOME SMART constructed for Oschadbank is among the unique exhibits. Visitors can see all the inside mechanisms through the transparent walls and observe how money is deducted and issued.
The event organizers, the National Bank of Ukraine and the National Center “Ukrainian House” created an original art and educational project that immerses visitors in a journey through the history of hryvnia formation. One can see not only the first printed hryvnias and the steps of the UNR but also get acquainted with the technological process of creating the hryvnia and documents related to the formation of Ukraine’s monetary sovereignty. Oschadbank, Privatbank, Taskombank, Ukrsibbank and Visa acted as project partners.
According to the National Bank of Ukraine, more than 3,000 visitors viewed the exhibition’s exhibits in the first few days after its opening.
The exhibition is open until May 11 at the Ukrainian House.
